Hi,

I have recently set up a forum which allows users to be validated manually by the administrator. As administrator I'm not recieving any notification email stating that a user has registered. Also the user is not recieving any notification.

The control panel is set up to accept admin validation and have checked my email address. I don't understand why the new user and myself is not being notified.

check and make sure the Boards Email is the same as your email. Also just check again that the validation is correctly setup.

This is something to do with the Email Notification Bug as well and no emails are being sent from some boards, I have this problem at my board as well..

If any of the support staff read this, any idea when this is going to be sorted ? As it has been like this for about a month now !!!

The thing it is not a bug but seems to be disabled in the main chmod of most boards to prevent excess spamming of email boxs of other members...this has been talked about alot here over the past four months and found to "not be a bug" but a disabled feature in the chmod's of boards and as such this service is on a "as is basis" so mosdt things members thing are bugs are not but just features that are actually turned off for security reasons.Please read the "terms of service" carefully befor complaining or posting about what you might feel is "a bug" on this free host.
