I got my board yesterday, as yet ive still not received my activation code. i cant modify my board at all. all i can do is login and edit my profile. how can i request a new activation code to be sent??

~EDIT~ This kinda thing happened with another forum i had. new members wernt receiving activation codes. i got that fed up with it i deleted the entire board after 2 months modifying everything from background image to link colours and adding music. i dont want this problem with forumer, so help would be most appreciated.

~EDIT2~ noticed a post about 17.forumer is 'on' and 'off' and technicians are trying to sort it out. I changed my email account on my forum to see if that would rectify the problem in receiving my activation code. I got the board using outllook express then, in my profile, changed it to hotmail. do both these accounts work with forumer boards??

They should, check your spam/junk folders and give a link ot your forum

i purposley entered the wrong username to see if it re-directed me to where i requset such info i require, nothing, just told me id entered invalid username 1 out of 5 times.

Like ~EDIT2~ says above, there appears to be a problem with their .17 server. i hope my problem stems from the technical probs with.17 sever.

But in the mean time i would like to know the above info..

Go to admin cp and then go to Security & privacy, choose yes, for email validation

I dont have the 'admin cp' button you mention. i only have the links at the top like profile etc.
I just tried logging into my forum but cant. i got a warning message telling me that they are aware of the problem and technicians are trying to fix it.

thanx anyway for your help.

Im just gonna have to sit this one out and see what happens. I just wish i got my activation code before.17 sever went down. RRR well, thats life

tried...nothing at all.

17. server is down apparently. ive had this problem at other forums ive had. i dont want this kinda problem agaain. all i want is my activation code to activate my board and start adding catagories. its sooo frustrating, so i hope that when .17 server is up and running i get my code cauz, if i dont, this will be another forum thats let me down.

Last forum i had took me 2 mths building and modifying, skins etc. i even had a juke box on it. The servers let me down, nobody could register cauz no activation codes were being sent. im getting de ja vu.

Thank you people for trying to help me, its highly appreciated and plz feel free to help me out in the mean time.

ok, this seems to be a little out of control. 17. forumer 'seems' to be fixed. I can now log in to my forum, but AGAIN, i have no activation email and i have no admin cp to start building my site! like mentioned above, i can only modify my proflie. Whats going on..?
This is quite annoying, i want to know how to get another activation code sent...plz help!
