I have been searching online in the past 20mins about IP Dynaimc Lite and I can't find anything that explains what it is.

Anyone got a example of what it is?

I have a idea in my mind that you can have content from your forum on your main index page, where it can tempt people to visit your forum?

I'm worried about submitting some settings incase it mucks everything up but any advise would be great.

IP dynamic lite is a 'portal' system, The easiet way of explaining what one is, is to see one in action, a good one can be found: HERE.

In the admin CP you can fully set up IP dynamic Lite - here is what all the various options do and mean:

IPDynamic Lite Set-up

ENABLE IPDynamic Lite? - Yes/No toggle

Page Title? - This will appear inbetween the elements on the page.

Forums to export articles from... - Separate forum ID's with a comma for more than one. You can find this ID by viewing the URL of the forum.

Number of Articles to display in the main section - Select the number of articles to display in the main section.

Enable Recent Articles? - Yes/No toggle. Select the maximum number of articles and topic length to display.

Date format for articles? - Change the PHP date format.

Max. no of characters to show per article - Maximum numbers of characters to show per article. Leave blank or enter 0 to disable. If cut, articles may have bbcode removed.

Enable Recent Discussions? - Allows recently replied or posted topics to be listed. Also select maximum numbers of characters to show per article.

Show Personal Message info? - Yes/No toggle

Show online users? - Yes/No toggle

Show search box? - Yes/No toggle

Enable skin selection choice dropdown? - Yes/No toggle

Show Poll? - Yes/No toggle. Enter URL to poll topic for inclusion.

Show Site Navigation Menu? - Yes/No toggle

Site Navigation Menu Links - One per line in this format
http://www.apple.com [Apple's Website]
{board_url} will convert into your board

Show Affiliates / Favoured Sites box? - Yes/No toggle

Show Affiliates / Favoured Sites box content - Enter HTML to display affiliates or sponsors here. You should have prior HTML knowledge when adding to this area.
