Help with Media player in IPB forum

I'd like to add a window media in my POST to play music online (streaming method) but i cant. Plz help me, i got the code to attach the media player but the form cant recognize the media player. I'm using IPB

If you are using HTMl, which i think you are using...
Then use the [doHTML] tag in there

[doHTML] all the html code here [/doHTML]

This is mainly designed for the Administrator.
Make sure that you are allowed to use the doHTML tag in the CP

I have it figured out,
The admin has to use the [doHTML] tag.
Allow the usage of the tag when editing the Groups and the Forum Description. There are several steps that have to be taken. If you need a walkthough , please ask me.

make sure (if i recall correctly) you have .swf .wmd, ect as allowed file types in the ACP.
I has this issue for some time...i was not allowing JPG and my members could not use imageshack uploads.
hang on, ill grab a screenshot.

Screenshot added. make sure that whatever your adding is an allowed file type! Worked for me!

thanks, i cant embede media player in my POST though. Please help me, i enable doHTML tag but i still cant get the player embeded

To add music to a post

First get your song ready.

Now let's edit the settings in the Forum

-Log in to the ACP
-Go to Manage User Groups

-Edit the Administrator group
-Scroll down and change the "Can user the [doHTML] tag" to "yes"


-Save the Changes


------------------------------------------------------------------
Now comes the second part,
Allowing the use of the [doHTML] tag in a forum

-After saving the last chages
go to Manage Forums
-Chose the forum where you will allow the usage of the [doHTML] tag
-Settings (In this case I will allow it in my "test forum"


scroll until you see the "Allow use of the [doHTML] tag" and set it to yes


SAVE THE CHANGES

Now add the HTML of the song you got previously, in a post inside that Forum using the [doHTML] tag
The code you had is here

And that should do it
I willl edit the images later, because were just processed in paint

I have no clue... it is just a free song...
