In the "ADMIN" group, I can only make 1 orb as my rank... if I want more than 1, like on http://yaheliteallianc.forumer.com, how would I go about doing that? I've tried, but I can only do that one...

raise your post count - that should give you want you want - as long as you have your ranks set up correctly.

Hmm... yeah, that would probably work; just so long as my member rank names don't override the "Administrator" name.

the name does not matter it is the group you are based on if you change your group pardon the exprecion but your screwed you lose admin power

no, that won't happen. At least it shouldn't.

if you click on the "www" button below my sig, you can see my site - check out the number of "pips" as forumer calls it, but you can see there are different groups and none of them are effected that way. (as an example)

No, your user group wouldn't change. Only your member title. And your title doesn't even usually change. If it did, you could just go back into the Admin CP and change your title.

But to set up more orbs (pips), you'll need to go to the following:

Admin CP > Users and Groups > User Title/Ranks > from there, you can create the name of the rank, the number of posts required to obtain the rank, and the number of pips you get when you reach a certain rank.

even though i am the admin on my site i still let the ranking reflect the default usage..the only thing i did was change my own title and add more ranks..why make yourself bigger than needed???..

No, I'm not trying to make myself "bigger".

Here is what I'm saying, to phrase it better. I am in the "ADMIN" group... I just got 50 posts... which would be the second rank on my forum. If a regular member reaches 50 posts, they will have two orbs. With every other group based off the member group, they will gain two orbs.

What I'm basically saying is, as long as I keep everything based off the member group, everything will look fine. If I make the root "ADMIN" group BASED ON THE MEMBER group, will all the admin powers still be upheld if I allow for it?

no i do not belive so nido but if you are worried raise the admin group outrageously high

i think that is what i did to lose my admin power changed the group i was based on
