Hi
First of all, thanks for a great forum! This was what I have been looking for!

Everything works fine, and I am very pleased. But there is one thing I can not get to work. When users (I am currentlig testing the forum with different users and permissions) try to subscribe (track this topic) or even by default (from their My controls setting) - no emails are being sent.
In My controls I can see the line: "Subscription auto pruning is switched off at present" Is this the answer?

But, when I try manually to e-mail (with the button) it does work, the report-button as well and so on.
It is important to me that the users can subscribe.

Is it just me? Please tell me what to do.
And again: Fantastic software!

check all permissions in your admin/cp under security/user profiles,etc...hope it all helps.

Sorry, does not help..

Anyway, I noticed I did not get any mail from this (the one I am writing in now) either. I did click on the "track this topic" link.

Any more ideas?

could be your isp or your enmail provider you use,..try a hotmail account or yahoo or lycos as they are free..hope that helps.

Nope, I don`t think so, since the "manually" sent mail from the forums arrives. Anyway, I got notificartion about your last reply. (Maybe last time I clicked the track-link in th same moment you replied or something.

Is it possible for you to view my admin settings, i could give you an temporary admin user if not.

we as mods do not view into others boards...that is for the main host admin to do...do not give out your admin password to anyone....if this does not clear up by the end of this day please repost here again....

Nobody post here till this user with the problem see's if it clears up...you post on this you'll catch a warning!
