When I subscribe to a forum, what happens. Do I get an email for every post that is made or what?

As far as i know you can watch it yes via E-mail!!!

when you subcribe to a forum or anywhere you should always have the option to"opt out" of email being sent to you...on forums look in your control panel for those settings.

I tested this on my forum. People have been posting but I have not been receiving emails. Do they send it every 24hrs?

you have to click the checkbox next to "Enable email notification of replies" in the topics in which you want to receive an email notification. you will not receive an email for every single post made otherwise...

I am subscribing to a forum, not a topic. Topics are OK. They send the email to tell me that someone has replied but I do not receive any notification if someone posts a new topic in my forum.

Look, i have an email address at yahoo.co.uk. Does this make any difference? Or can admins not subscribe to forums?
