Default Can I make a forum part just for member group visible?

Is it possible to make one forum part only visible to one member group and that it can't be seen by members who are not part of this member group? In the forum list... I mean that other members can not see that this forum part excists? Invisible?

Second question: I have 6000 members and I'd like to add like 500 members to a group, must I add every single member to a member group or is it possible to add them all at once somehow?

1. yes. make it passworded and give the password to the members you want to see the forum.

2. do the members have to have a certain post count? If members reach a certain post count they can be automaticly upgraded to another suer group. Otherwise by hand you will ahve to upgrade them.

Sincerly,Ryan 9500 Fbucks donated to worty causes so far. More Coming! PM ME TO LINK EXCHANGE!!!!

Ok, I found how to upgrade all members whith a certain post number to the new user group BUT it didn't work, there is only one member listed in that group who has 103 posts but it should be much more! What is wrong?

They may need to post once more to be included in the group.

Yes, this is very easy actually here is what you must do.

1.) Admin CP > Forum Control > Manage User Group > Create A New One

After you have created it and edit the settings to your liking you must go to

2.) Admin CP > Forum Control > Permission Mask

You must make a new one and edit for your likings, and then go back to Manage User Group put the memeber group in the section with priviledge abilites and your all set.

Any problems please feel free to PM me

Stan
