Server 15: I have a lot of questions and yes I have looked through just about every sticky thread and help topic.

What can I use Fbucks more. Can I use them to advertise my forum? Can I use them to create a domain? Whats the deal with them? If I were to give my members fbucks for a certain amount of posts how do I set that up?

Why can I not load certain images in my forum, and yes I have upload on in all the threads? What images can you not upload?

How do I change the status of one member? I do not want to create a new member but just want to change the status of that member.

Can I read other peoples Pm's? There is a thing on Vbulliten that allows you to direct a thread in News but really that thread shows up in lets say off topic. How do I take that thread and show it in News, but when people click on it it directs them to off topic where that thread is?

Why is my group icon not working, and adding groups is not working. I want to make a level for the member that reaches 50 posts. And the next 50 is a different level or "status"?

Can I change peoples signatures?

Can I add a live chat service to the forum?

What is a group promotion?

Fbuck$ are Forumer's currency system. They have no monetary ($$) value whatsoever, but they can be purchased! Fbuck$, in short, are used to remove the ads at the top of your forum, as well as to pay people at this forum for things like graphics. In the box provided type in the user's name and click on the button below it entitled Find Member. From here click on the Edit Details link.

Live Chat: You can create a live chat by placing the link to one on your forum, but you can't make an IPB one if that's what you mean.

Group Promotion: is when you make a user group, like "member" if a member posts lets say, 1000 posts, they get promoted to "super member", you can call it whatever you want, be creative.

PM's are Personal Messages sent from Member to Member, how would guests send each other personal messages.

Posting is just replying to things on a forum, like I am right now.

Wow you are fast. But what I meant was that when I first started posting on this forum. forum.forumer.com I had no option on the top of viewing pm's. I also want to know what each post enables you to do. After a certain amount of posts can you do more things, do you get something, are you allowed to post in threads that I can not as of now?

Server 15: Is there a way to not ban someone but have all his posts show up as invisible to all the members. He just keeps coming back with different alliases and Ip's. Thank you!

I'm afraid not - delete the abusers account and posts, then try turning on Admin Validation for the new registrations and just don't accept any new members until he/she gets bored and leaves.

Yep I had a feeling that is what I had to do! What would you reccomend to be the uploadable max size that users can upload into their sig, avatar, and posts? I'm trying to figure it out, but do not want to run out of space. Thank you.

And does it really matter to put server 15 by my name when I post?

You don't run out of space with Forumer, make it as big or small as you want.

Also, I know, I find it annoying, too. It is there to make supporting people easier, but I don't really feel any difference.

Thank you for the quick reply. I know this is a feature on Vbulliten and was wandering if you can do it on Forumer. Is there a way where I can make forum where only the people who have over 500 posts can view it?

Can I make certain members able to view it. I know in permission masks that you can allow groups to see certain things, but I only want certain members.

I do not want a forum where it is locked with a password, because all someone has to do is repeat the password to someone else.

I'm looking for something where I can say I only want this IP address to view this forum, and only this member can view this forum, without having a set password.

Can this be done by posts, can I select certain members and not have other members to see the forum, can I make it where only people with the IP addresses I allow view it?

And by golly I'm confused on what IPDynamic Lite Set-up does and how to set it up!

I have a couple more questions.

Is there a way I can see which members have visted the site, like on this forum. We just hit a record of most people online today, only 7 , but I was wandering if there was a way I could see who was on today. Thank you

The second question is that the forum seems to mistake a member as a guest. It will say 1 member and 1 guest sometimes. The guest and member have the same I.P address. Sometimes the member will be logged in and the guest with the same address says logging in, but it stays like that.
What does this mean and can I resolve it?
