I want to know how to add more link above/beside/under the banner.

Now I have Home, Rules, Help, .... (forgot)
Here is my forum: you can see the 5 links besides the banner.

I also want to ask how to add avatars category.

I have search fmods but the database closed.

I'm not sure, I only know how to add one custom button and that would be to rename the "Site Home" and link it to the new page.. cheap trick I know

I would advise you to wait until FMODS is back up, they are having some upgrade problems currently

Adding more links is easy, here we go! Just follow the "tree" below.

Your Forum Homepage
Log In To ACP
Scroll down to "Skins & Templates"
Click "HTML Templates"
Click "Manage HTML" which is next to current skin in use
Scroll down to "Global HTML elements"
Click "Expand to Edit"
Scroll down to "Board Header (logo, links, etc)"
Click "Edit Single"
Find:

HTML Code:

<a href='LINK HERE!'>NAME OF LINK HERE</a>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<a href='{ibf.script_url}act=Help'>{ibf.lang.tb_help}</a> &nbsp;
   &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;<a href='{ibf.script_url}act=Search&amp;f={$ibforums->input['f']}'>{ibf.lang.tb_search}</a>
   &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<a href='{ibf.script_url}act=Members'>{ibf.lang.tb_mlist}</a>
   &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<a href='{ibf.script_url}act=calendar'>{ibf.lang.tb_calendar}</a>

What you just found is ALL the links in your board. However, my board does not have the images on those links, so PLEASE don't use the above code unless you plan to remove the link. In the above part, if you want your new link to be the FIRST link, just fill in the red.

Just add:

HTML Code:

<a href='LINK HERE!'>NAME OF LINK HERE</a>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

which you can see HOW it is used above. " " is space in HTML.

I hope that helped, just tell me if it didn't work for you, but remember to copy/paste the original code in your forum in case you mess up.
