If I plan to backup my forum or move my forum databases to my server, can I do this? I am just curious on what my options are.

Sorry, but this is not possible. Forumer backs up the servers on a regular basis to prevent any data loss.

If you want to start a forum on your own server outside of Forumer, you will have to start over. I know this may be an inconvenience for some, but this is something that has to be considered upon registering your free forum.
