for some reason i dont receive a PM notification when i receive a new one. members are starting to question it. I oculdnt find the option to activate that anywhere...

Could you rephrase that, I can't exatly find out what you mean.

your supposed to get a little pop up or something to tel you you have a new message.

This pop up is activated by members going to My Controls, the by clicking Board Settings. There is an option there:

Do you wish to get a pop up notification when you get a new private message?

Set this to yes.

NOTE: This may be set to yes as default, if this is the case, then the probably cause for the pop ups not appearing is pop up blockers. This was happening with me on my computer. All you have to do is tell the blocker to allow pop ups from your site. I did this and from now on I always receive the pop up notification
