Default Yahoo ads = bad move Forumer

I noticed that forumer (server 5 at least) changed from google ads to yahoo and from what I see in my board that was a major bad move.

A have a Photography (art) related fórum, after a year I have 855 rgistered members, about 125 daily active members and an average of 10-30 conected visitors (members and visitors) all the time.

With google, the ads (adsense) were related with all that was going on on my board, photography online shops, stock photos, online printing, software, etc, etc. Those were useful, now yahoo ads are all wrong, nothing to do with my fórum.

It is non of my business but if this is the same with other forums, I beat you are losing big money.

Keap up the good work.

Lol, I noticed the change too Alex, not that any google ads really had much to do with my forum anyway, I think they just work by keywords. for eg, my forum is about reptiles, so most ads were like, "buy snakeskin boots on ebay" lol

Mine don't seem to have changed .. they are still related to the things that are being discussed, from what I can see.. (often in a bizarre and amusing fashion ).

It appears some servers have ads by Google and others by Yahoo.

You can tell what server you are on by looking at your forum URL.
