hi. if i change the skin will i lose my current banner.
and will any front pictures change.

Changing skins in phpBB you would not lose the banner or any images in the forums' descriptions.

Note that you have an IPB board and I'm not 100% sure if the same applies to IPB.

There is 1 or 2 PHP skins that do not like to work with banners.

However, your banner will never be "lost"... just not displayed... if you choose 1 of these skins.
