| Member ![]() | I was looking at my Admin CP and there is no existing Moderator group. I've decided I need some so I was wondering how I could make that group? Do I branch it off of the Admin or the Members? Thanks for the help! ![]() |

If you don't pay your exorcist, do you get repossessed?

| VIP Team | Just branch it off of the member group, then just go back and add all the privledges you wish for your mods to have. |

Click on Admin CP -> Manage User Groups. Once you are in the "Manage User Groups" scroll all the way down and you will see this: "Base new group on..." click on "Set up New Group". It will take you to another screen and you will see this: "Group Title" enter a name for that group (Example: Moderator). When you are done, keep going down and set up things you allow your moderator to do and what not to do. When you have done all that, at the end you will see these: Is Super Moderator (can moderate anywhere)? Yes or No Can access the Admin CP? Yes or No Allow user group to post in 'closed' topics? Yes or No You will also see this: Choose 'Don't Promote' to disable promotions. Just leave that how it is and proceed by click "Add Group". Once you are done. Click on "Permission Masks" once you are in the "Permission Masks" scroll all the way down and you will see this: Permission Mask Name enter Moderator then click on "Create". You will see this new group you put on the "Permission Masks", find Moderator and click on "Edit" and choose which Forums you allow this Moderator group to Read, Reply, Start, or Upload. Hope that helps. Nam | |
