If you set the Permissions, like on My own forums, I have a Private Forum for Admins only, So I made the permissions accordingly, or you could set a password, and give it to the people that you want to allow access to.

Or don't allow them to view that certain Forum. Click on Admin CP -> Manage Forums. Once you are in the "Manage Forums" choose which Forum(s) you don't want a members to "Read" that Forum, by unchecking the box. The members shouldn't be able to view it, unless you allow them too.

Hope that Help.

Nope Migros Nam has the best idea and you can set that up in forum control/manage forums/click that forums settings and you can adjust the permission mask in there. That is the easiest way to do it.
