When I registered I agreed that I would not use the forum to promote other forums. This leads me to a question. Our forum is thinking about switching from phpBB to IPB because of the advanced features. We just started out a few months ago and have been promoting it on another (nonforumer) website that is closing down. We have 49 Members and are growing rapidly because of the other shutdown that is coming. I know that if we change we will lose all our information.

So here is my question; can I make topics in every forum category with a link to the new IPB forum when we switch? I dont want to break the rules, but I do want new coming members that got the link from the other site to know that we switched. I will also be sending out an e-mail to all our members to let them know of the change.
