I just made a IPB forum, and deleted the testing defult forum thing.

I was in the CP happily chugging away there adding in the new forums. Gosh its so different from phpbb!
Now, what has me stuck is I *think* I have the forum on visible, but it isn't showing on the index page?

Now, when you add in a forum, it has a section at the bottom where you can tick boxes - I'm assuming this is where I have gone wrong as I've ticked none.
I don't want guests to post, but everyone else to be able to post and do other normal stuff.
What must I tick, as I find it all a tad confusing?

And can someone please tell me what a "Validating Forum mask" is?
