Default How to change the "error" thingies

Well, of course, everytime there are no "new posts" and someone clicks one "New Posts" it says "error, blah blah"
And/Or sometimes when you're not registered and you're required to be registered topost and when you try to post, you recieve
Sorry, an error occurred. If you are unsure on how to use a feature, or don't know why you got this error message, try looking through the help files for more information.
So, is there a way I can chage to what I want it to say everytime the members recieve in error like this. Cause I don't really like that one...
