Please HELP! my board is slow and we can't post!

when we go to post, the board takes forever....like seriously 10 minutes to post on DSL. Can someone please help me?! I don't know what to do, and the ladies are getting restless! haha!

i'm on server 1 & i keep getting a white screen that sez 'connect', or a plain white page, whenever i try to do something at my board. i also got an error message when i tried to come here a couple of minutes ago.

hopefully it's just temporary...

We know of the problem, and hopefully it will resolve itself within twelve hours. It is temporary, I assure you, and your boards are fine. It'll just take a little bit of time fix the bug.

it seems better this morning, which is good, but now i have a question...

i got emails & PMs from several members about it. if a person had to try & try & try several times to send a PM or submit a reply, did all those extra views come out of the $$$ i spent for ad removal? i sure hope not.

It depends, did the page fully load with each try? Only if the ad does not load do you lose page views.

i don't know, because i am not them. i know one thing though... i'm done paying for ad removal. i don't trust it. i think i'm paying for a lot more member views than my members are actually making. it's not worth it to me.

i already have the board set to where i see the ads to keep my costs down. i barely even notice them anymore. if they don't bother me, i doubt they'll bother anybody else. if they do, they can mail me 5 bux & i'll make a special category just for them, & keep the ads off just for them. i kinda doubt anybody would do it though, because in all my years of running message boards, only one person besides me has ever paid one penny for anything. people are cheap.

I think its suppose to be so that it evens it out. The point of ads are to make money, if it was worth it there would be no money made
