You cant. You'll need to delete that whole topic, then use the recount statistics in your Admin CP.

i actually did it on my forum...

i did the same thing, i moved a topic and kept the shadow link or whatever in the old forum. all i did was delete the shadow link. i thought it would delete both threads... considering they have the same url... but it didn't.

i dunno, maybe it was a fluke. you could always make a fake thread.. move it, delete the shodow link in the old forum, and see what happens.

like i said, it worked for me.. but i wouldn't want you to delete a members post by accident, so be careful.

Oh bliss! Bliss and heaven! Oh, it was gorgeousness and gorgeousity made flesh. It was like a bird of rarest-spun heaven metal or like silvery wine flowing in a spaceship, gravity all nonsense now. As I slooshied, I knew such lovely pictures!

Go to your ModCP, select all those "moved" icons (with an empty link!!), scroll down the page after selecting, select "delete" and delete them. That's it. Your moved topic will still be there, in whichever forum you moved it to, but the trace, "moved" icon, will disappear.

If don't want those traces to appear next time, make sure you tick "no" when asked "Leave a link to the new topic in the source forum?".

If you (mass) move topics from your ModCP they won't leave a trace anyway. the trace is only left if you use the mod options at the bottom of a topic page.
