1st off I would like to know what exactly are the file types we can upload on Forumer?

2nd thing is becuase I tried to post a flash movie and it said that it was an unsupported file type but in the admincp under topics, posts, and polls, there are 2 settings for flash movies (Max. width of posted Flash movies (in pixels) and Max. height of posted Flash movies (in pixels)). So why are there 2 settings for them if we can't upload them?

btw - my flash movie was a .swf

Can anyone help me?

you can't upload .swf files. but .rar, .zip should work.

yeah... i was wanting the movie to play whenever someone opened the thread. and like i said above - there are 2 option about posted flash movies in the admincp, so why is a .swf file unsupported?

You can POST a flash movie using these BB codes.. make sure flash movies are enabled in your Admin CP (where you saw the other 2 options). The code to use is:
[flash=50,50]full url to your flash file here[/flash]
The only thing you will have to do is upload the flash file somewhere else so you get a URL to use. You can change the height and width of the movie by altering the 50,50 part of the code.
