Default What is this.. ℑ??

i just got an IPB forum with the invision board template, and when i go to 'edit' a post, if that post contains an image or thumbnail from, say, imageshack... it changes the url around and puts in this "ℑ" symbol.. where it should have this "&image".

example:
before editing..
Code:
http://img166.exs.cx/my.php?loc=img166&image=picture.jpg
after editing..
Code:
http://img166.exs.cx/my.php?loc=img166ℑ=picture.jpg
can i adjust something in the control panel to stop this? it's terribly annoying.

well, if you are using bbcode or whatever its called, then you just put [img]yoururl.com/whatever/yourpic.jpeg and then put [/img] at the end of the url. Am I not getting something?

a link wouldn't matter.. when i post my thread it's fine. the image url is correct, it's just when i go to edit it... if i edit it. the url changes. it's just annoying. but since no one has heard of it, i'll deal with it.

Yes, even if it is irrelevent, it's still best to provide a link to your forum when requesting support in the support forum.

As a matter of fact, it's even one of our rules.

it's happened at my board, but i don't know what you can do about it. it happens when you post links too. (which is when it's happened to me... on links, not images)

anyhoo, even though i can't help, i wanted you to know that you're not the only one.

oh, & you don't have to give out your URL unless you want to. i never do either. you have no way of knowing who is here lurking around looking for places to go make trouble. i figure if limez or a mod needs it, i can give it to em via PM.
