Board Statistics?

Can the board stats be sorted by forumer admin as we will not be having my php /sql access anymore?

Yeh this would be realy useful, its realy annoying to have incorrect stats!

From research I've done trying to fix it, this has been an ongoing problem since before March 2004 with forumhoster, so don't hold your breath. Our board has same problem, I just took the board stats down and update it by hand every day at a certain time.

Try this (if you can)

1) From your Admin CP, go in SQL Management -> MySQL Toolbox.
2) Click on 'ibf_stats'.
3) Insert this query into the text box:

INSERT INTO ibf_stats (TOTAL_REPLIES) VALUES (99)

and click on 'Run a new query'.

4) Go in Administration -> Recount statistics.
5) Click on 'Reset these statistics'

At the foot of the list ,just above "Board Logs" you have "SQL Management"
and from the mySQL Toolbox you can run a "manual query"

Above my board logs it has statistics centre does this mean i do not have the mysql feature?

These are the headings on the board in the ACP.
Anything not listed you won't have.

I found a way to do it manually, you would have to update it everday though.

First go into your Skins & Templates section of your Admin CP, then to HTML Templates / Manage HTML / Board Index Sections and then choose to "edit single" the +-- Board Stats: Posts, Topics, etc Row section.

Enter the following text in the quote box underneath where it shows the url to the image you are using for the board stats icon.

EXAMPLE:

Where the text is red below, enter your stats and last member name to join as well as your forum index page url.

Each day or when ever you want to update your stats you will have to go in and change the number of posts, members and the name of the last person to join. Kind of irritating but until I'm told an easier way to do it this is what im doing and its workin for me.
