I recived this e-mail today.

Your forum won't let me log in or retrieve my password. It claims that my account has been rendered inactive.

I had the Enable account activation set on (none).

Is that the problem? :blink:

No, that would not be the problem.

Aren't you able to log into your forum? What error message are you getting?

No....you want your validation set to NONE. Please post the contents of that email they sent you.

Where is "validation" located?

I can log in fine.

Who sent the email to you? Was it a member from your forum or from the forum itself?

If an account is inactive, you can activate it by going Admin CP > User Admin > Management and find 'User is active'

That worked. Why would it turn off?
All my members were off.
I had Enable account activation set to ( User )
Im thinking that was the problem?

The user probably hasn't validated their account. Although there is a bug with the validation emails at present, so you may want to turn validation off by going into Admin CP > General Admin > Configuration and setting 'Enable account activation' to None.
