My other admin decided to make a new user group called Gold Members.
Now though whenever someone joins there are automatically a Gold Member.
I want to delete this group but it does not even give me the option.

It could be one of those default groups that can't be deleted. I would change the name back to what it was

Chances are he just re-named the Members group. Re-name the group to 'Members', and select 'Add new grou-p' in the Manage User Groups section of your Admin Control Panel. There you can make a 'Gold' group.
