As Forumer have started putting in ads I would like to take my site out of here and host it in my own servers. My forum have 57 members and over 7100 post with a lot of attachments. Is there any possiblity of getting it all out of here? I know forumer don't have a policy but as this ads are a turning point will you please allow me to get a sql backup?

No sorry, backup of forums are not available to members.

wat if i got my own paid server in which a goood space and MySql database

so, why i dont got a back up from my forum i think it will never affect forumer in a thing so plz re-think about this guyz

This is just the policy we have regarding this. Unfortunately, we do not give backups to anybody, under any circumstances.

Oh boy, I think you guys need to re-think on this big time. Because the difference that made between Forumer and other sites was this ad banner. I agree that without money nothing happens and introduction of banner ads is your choice to make. I have a place where I can host it for free and I even have the IPB software with me. I also know that it will not take much time and resource to backup the whole forum. Please reconsider this.

Sorry, but the final answer is under NO circumstances are backups of forums provided to members. And there will not be an exception for a few people.

You don't have to talk to members like that you are NOT a member of staff here you don't have a logo to prove otherwise.

Im afraid my going over to hosting my own forum as of Friday 14th January due to the advertising !!

This was the reason I went with Forumer cos of the no advertising this, now 290 members have to sign up to a new forum, still never mind better in the long run !!

We don't provide backups, unless your forum has 500 members. Again, there is nothing we can do because of the banners.
