Well it shows up on mine ok with a 633 celeron/256mbrm/2kpro with all updates even service pack 5 beta and using firefox 0.8 just fine.
Depending on the persons computer and the level that they maintain it at and all that can make a huge difference in anything.
It is nothing you are doing on your forum so do not be worried.It could be they have a very striong firewall that blocks banners or a pop up blocker also and these will block banners and such if not set correctly.
I posted a link about keeping yopur computer maintained in general support I think it is for all to read or you can view about maintenance on my forum in the "computer help desk area or the chat savy zone".
It is nothing you are doing on your forum or this server rest assured.

yes i can definitly see but it's too big @_@ (i'm using a 800x600 resolution)
i suggest you make it smaller so ppl with 800x600 resolution don't have to scroll back and forth to see the forum....

btw this is a personal opinion i think ur banner's quality's abit low... if you're using photoshop and your resolution's set to 72(or smth similar to that) then i suggest that when you save it save the quality as 8 or higher...

In my own personal opinion Firefox 0.8 is the best browser ever as it renders web sites/pages as thewy really are and does not allow sloppy coding like internet explorer 6,opera,or other browsers...but what do I know I only use the best :lol:
