It still doesn't work on server one. I n fact, it's worse. Now, it doesn't even recognize that something has been done limiting the activity for a week. Instead, it shows "Edit Member Search Form" and then it has the mass email form. It says the action has been performed successfully, under that same "Edit Member Search Form" and then allows you to do it again. The Result: no mass email sent.

It's encouraging to hear that the problem was fixed on Server 5 for Alex R-. This means it shold be an easy fix for server one. Please prioritize this fix.

Hi, yes it's still being looked into.

Yesterday I found a new problem on server 1 regarding mail. I have noticed that the registration e-mails are not sending, so it is possible that the mail server is down. I told the coder this, but he is unable to fix it, so Limez is going to have to fix it.

Thank you Attitude. Yeah, the validating emails haven't been working on Server One for the longest time either. I changed back to not having to validate for new users for that reason. It would make sense that the mail server could be down. I always thought everything was on the same server.

I know it is. But we will have to make due for now unfortunately, until this gets fixed. The server has had an extreme amount of load problems. Hopefully, Limez will fix it.

Thanks Attitude. It seems to be up now. But, now there is a big green portion at the bottom of the page. But, the more important thing now is the bulk mail thing. Have you heard anything from Limez on that? Thanks again for you replies here. I appreciate it.

Here is the error message when I try to access my forum.

Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2)

And again, just so we're clear. The bulk mail is still not working. I repeat. It is not working on server one. Please. I beg and plead with someone who has access to the server to fix the problem.

I'm begging that they will make thses forums more stable. There has got to be a way to do this. Please.

Are you sure you're not trying to send it out more than once a week?

I have tried to send out bulk email a couple of days ago as a result of you complaining about it. My forum is also on server 1 and is active. I asked all my members to report back if they got it and they all did.

All my members (in every user group I have) have received the e-mail sent out to them and all of them (except maybe a couple) have got it in their normal inbox (not spam)

It is not working on my forum. I sent it out to my admin group, which is just two users, two email addresses. It did not send out and I did not see the emails come back. Both users are me. I can only test it once a week. The system will not let me try it any other way, I've PM'ed Limez with my details and log in info, and have heard nothing back from him. Can you help me?

BTW, I just checked and the form is there to test. I won't do the test if you want to log in as my admin and try it. Obviously, Limez hasn't done so. If I test it, I won't be able to do so for another week. And, I'll have no idea it is fixed or not unless I'm told otherwise. And, even if it is fixed and it works, then I'll have to wait another week to send the important bulk email that I've been wanting to send for how long???? THREE MONTHS! So, can this restriction be lifted so I can send out my email, if by some miracle it actually works.

Wild Cat tested the Bulk Mail system on my forum and it is indeed NOT working. She is going to contact Limez to fix the problem. Lets hope that this issue will finally be resolved soon.
