I have just read the tutorial about the FAP account and I have a problem.

I had created a forum a few weeks ago and I registered the FAP account strait away, the exactly same way as the tutorial said, but for some reason it only registered me as an admin and not as an owner.

Then today I repeated the registration....by pressing on : Register as OWNER.....and it still only registered me as an admin and added the same forum to my account...so now it says that I have 2 forums on my account (both the same forum) and I am still not listed as an owner and I don't have any drop down menu.

Is there a way to fix this?

No, we had to get rid of the admin set up. Only owners of the board can access and use the FAP account.

As for the second problem, I will look into this.

My point is that I AM the owner !!!

I made the forum and it doesn't even have other members....all 3 members on it are me, as I made the forum for training and experimental purposes (so when I alter the other forum where I'm an admin it doesn't get messed up because I have no clue what to do).....so why didn't it register me as an owner?
I have registered the FAP account to that forum about 10 minutes after I made the forum and that's how it has done it......put me down as an admin.

Is there a way of fixing it?

Oh, and another thing, if I was to became an owner of an existing forum, is there a way to transfer a FAP account to my name? Just curious as it might happen in the future.

OK......I'm sorry.

I was thinking that I would send the question under my usual nick but that account created itself automatically when I created the forum and as I wanted to prove that I am the owner I thought that maybe it is better if I post the question with that account.

I was not planning to be switching from one to another when posting here.......as you can see I only made 2 posts with it both in this thread.

BTW, you could have answered the my second question about transferring the FAP account if some one takes over a forum.

same problem here. I have admin status on another forum registered about 2 weeks ago (on july 8th). It says I am admin and cannot register as owner.

Well about the same problem. When I log into the fap I am admin and not owner.

then I try to register as owner

click register and then...

doesn't let me. This forum might look familiar cus I reported it recently. It has been hijacked. I either want the forum back and get this fpa panel working or just want the thing deleted since it violates the terms of service anyway. Thanks
