turned board offline, offline message not showing

I turned my board offline, then, i logged out so that I could view the board as a guest. I wanted to see if the offline message showed, but it did not.

I do not know how to take a screenshot of what I see when i view as a guest but here is the forum addy: http://warmbreezes.18.forumer.com/index.php?

This way, you could see what I see when viewing as a guest.

The top of the forum says (offline) tropical breezes and yet I can still see the forums even though i am viewing as a guest. I should see the offline message that I have created and not the forums.

Thanks for your report!

I will now check into this and if i can recreate it in my server 18 test forum i will submit this to Limez.

Limez and the forumer techies are now aware of this problem.

They fix these errors on a matter or priority so if a worse fault appears they will attend to that first.

I know this is old but the bug report is still open:

Check that guest can view offline board is set to NO

adminCP >
Under "Users and Groups" click on Manage User Groups >
Click on guests >
scroll down to "Can view OFFLINE board?" make sure this is set to NO >
scroll to the bottom and click on "Complete edits"
