Default Looking for feedback

i did some changes to one of my forums ipbskinz.9.forumer.com, I am looking for feedback on the new improvements. You really wont notice much until you goto create or reply to a thread or a pm. The buttons are shaded and instead of having black lines around the buttons they are orange dashes. The input areas are made opaque so that the background and inside scrollbar are lighter.

Here is a screenshot of it.

What Do you all think?

OH, and thanks again to Iyeru for helping me figure out how to get the scroll bar to change colors

Dope, server 9 is slow : / I'll check out the bottons in detail when the server is better. I do like the dashed lines a lot. It's looking really good.

I Agree With Forumer.

Yellow mustard? unless my eye's are broken it's a light orange. Which the background is fine and had been fine for quite some time.

BTW as i just realized. You would need IE to be able to see all of the CSS mods as Firefox is half reading it.

Here is a guide for anyone to make their own mods to their ipb forums.

Look at the last several lines of CSS code in your ipb script.
Quote:
.codebuttons { font-size: 10px; font-family: verdana, helvetica, sans-serif; vertical-align: middle; color:#000000; background-color:#FFEED3; border-style:dashed; border-color:#EC9600 }

.forminput, .textinput, .radiobutton, .checkbox { font-size: 11px; font-family: verdana, helvetica, sans-serif; vertical-align: middle; color:#000000; filter:Alpha(opacity=60); background-color:#FFEED3; border-style:dashed; border-color:#EC9600 }
Blue; This is the background color for the buttons and the input box's
Purple; This is the border style code
Green; Border color code
Orange; Opacity, this makes the area applied transparent, Current codes only works with ie, FF friendly versions will also be available soon.

Just replace the html color codes with your own and thats it.

The dotted input box's work for both FF and IE, but FF will not dot buttons and check box's.

Also other types of border's to use
Quote:
Raised: border-styleutset;
Dotted: border-style:dotted;
Double: border-style:double;
Grooved: border-style:groove;
Inset: border-style:inset;
Ridged: border-style:ridge

That looks pretty nice. Maybe you could get some custom post icons to add to the Images Only section, that would really top it off.
