am currently basing my forum on the "Blueillusion" skin

however had complaints that the background colour is too dark

had a look through the HTML Templates but I cant find a variable to change the background colour

can anyone help me please

Go to your Admin CPanel.

Under Skins and Templates select Style Sheets. Click Edit on your style sheet and in the CSS code find the following:

Quote:

BODY { font-family: Verdana, Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 11px; color: #000; margin: 0px 10px 0px 10px; background-color: #E9E7E2 }

Replace the HEX code with the color you prefer, may choose from HERE.
