Today I had an urge to make myself a simple logo to be used as the logo for my design portfolio.

I think you should make the rounded shape of the d and the p equal, so it looks kind of symmetrical.

I like the first template, but if you do code that, I would suggest to maybe use a hover effect so it separates the pieces of information.

For the second template, I think there is too much yellow.

It looks alright. There's actually an algorithm I developed real quick to down or upsize it. it's really scalable seeing as it's just text.
