Hello all,

I am relatively new to these forums, but would like to say that what I have seen so far is quite impressive, *tips hat*. I would like to request help creating a banner for our guild's new website. The required info is as follows:

Type of Image (e.g Avatar, Signature, etc): Banner
Text on The Image (e.g Hi, Why?, etc): Ravage (main heading); An Alliance Anvilmar Guild (side text)
Font for the text:Ikarus, may be found here: http://www.dafont.com/ikarus.font
Images on The Image (e.g I'd like this image on this image):
Image Colour Scheme (e.g Black & Blue, etc or you can use this site to generate a hex for your colors.): Black/blue/silver
Image Size (e.g 90x90, 80x80, etc): 1024 x 900

Ive tried to create a banner, but have very limited experience using Photoshop. The background was supplied to me, but have since been decided to be changed, which is still undetermined as to ideas. Those undertaking the project have full run of the scheme for the background. The requirements would be that it is 1024x900 and have two side bars, such as those provided in the following link. I found the image for the banner online (Click here for image), resized it and created a text layer, following Cadet's tutorial to complete the text.

Here is the link to a banner I created but have several flaws in which would be great to have cleared up by someone more advanced with photoshop:

Things we would like in the banner itself:
-The horde character removed from the upper left corner
-The horizontal grass silhouette throughout the middle of the banner removed/blended
-An alliance character, rendered, race not an issue or the following image mirrored to fit the banner

Any help with this is greatly appreciated,
