| Elite Forumer ![]() ![]() | make a new one and start out with a larger canvas... if you enlarge that image the quality will be too bad and fuzzy and it will be crap basically... and if you need help follow the rules and complete the questions in the guidelines Sawan has linked you to... |

| Senior Forumer ![]() | I can hardly see your logo; it's smaller than small. Here's a little something for ya: If you're using photoshop, using the Resize Tool will change the size of your image without the fuzziness. Here's a tutorial for you to consider when changing the size of a banner, image, etc. 1. Get the image you want to resize (increase or decrease). 2. Make sure the image is RGB. If the image is locked, do a Control+J to duplicate the image and delete the original layer. This will allow you to work on the image. 3. Next, you want to select the image to resize it by doing a Control+T. You will see tiny squares on each corner of your image, right? 4. While depressing the Shift key, position your mouse at one of the corners and start moving the image down to make the size smaller. DO NOT LET GO OF THE SHIFT KEY! Once you get the size down to where you want it, release the Shift key and then hit your Enter key. Now, if you want to increase the size of your image, you would do the same thing but only this time, you would move your corners upward. Tip: If you want a larger sized image, don't forget to increase the size of your canvas. You can do that by clicking Image > Canvas Size. When you get the pop-up window, increase your canvas size using pixels. Last edited by oopzz; 03-26-2009 at 09:50 PM.. |

| Elite Forumer ![]() ![]() | yeah but that tiny logo is not even possible to resize with photoshop, whatever you do it always will be fuzzy........... you need to make a new one ![]() To add to this little tutorial........ what oopzz mentioned is a great way to resize an image within an image... (when you are working on an image with many layers and you want to only resize one on a single layer)...... if you want the whole image resized (all layers at once): Click on Image -> Image size (or Alt+Ctrl+I) you'll get a window where you can set your dimensions, make sure that you have the "Constrain Proportions" ticked, you can also chose the quality in the Resample drop down menu ![]() |
