Attached are the examples of the icons that the software either came with, or I have added.

The only ones that I am wanting to keep at this point, are the hard drive from disk usage, & the folder icon. If they can be made better, or will be completely out of place, then I am open for any ideas. I basically would like a 32bit icon set to really make the control panel nice. Theses default ones are... well, garbage in my opinion. I don't even know what that thing for billing info is.

As for the server status page, I would like good & alert icons that match the flow of the icon set.

Lastly, I'll open the offer at 7k fbucks.

Ok so first off, i've never done a button set before so i look forward to the challenge.

I need to know the image sizes you need, the format you want them in, and a little bit of an idea of what you want... I know you think the default ones are garbage but what do you have in mind for the ones you want me to make.

colors, pictures and a basic idea of what's expected and i'll be happy to get to work.

7k fbucks sounds pretty good, im not sure what the average button set goes for ... but it's fine for now.

I'm not sure about the size. Whatever you use would be fine, just so long as they look good. I can alter them on my side, I can always shrink them.

I'd like to go with a Glassy look

WebMail : Generic Application
E-Mail : anything simiar
XRMS : Basically just the letters XRMS
Server Status : Server or BSD Daemon
Billing Info : Spread Sheet or Dollar sign
Disk Usage : Bar graph
My Profile : Fine as is
FIle Manager : Fine as is
Private Messages : generic chat application
Account Lookup : Magnifine glass
My Shopping Cart : A shopping cart or gift basket
Web Analyzer : Bar Graph or some sort of Graph
My Blog : Something similar to what is there now

Glassy like http://mac.softpedia.com/screenshots/10-1105_1.png with the shimmer, but squares instead of the circles, & with rounded corners.

Here's what I did last night...

I must admit that making buttons isn't as easy as I thought... pretty hard to get a decent looking button when working with such small sizes... Resizing the larger images just makes them all blurry and awkward looking.

So yeah, here's my first ever button set... glossy effect coming up... unless you like them like this... honestly the glossy will most likely distort the image quality, but ill try anyways.

Wow, great work and awesome creativity!

You can remove those frigged edges by using the blur tool then doing an adjustment. I've noticed that using the Custom Shape Tool will make the edges smoother too. Pixeled images have a tendency to hang on edges at times.
