I would like to wish everyone a Happy Independence Day. A day to party (for those who celebrate 4th July.)

We can also use this day to remember the troops around the world fighting for our lives.

Never the less, my department will be having numerous DUI check points around town for the next few days, (preferably near the bars).

Ya, I will be supervising one tonight, there's one place in general that's right near my house I want to try - there's three bars near by along with a strip club. ( Not that I never go there or anything

) There's also a lot of residential areas.

Oh yeah, have a safe 4th of July weekend... and if you drive drunk, I will drag your drunk ass in a drunk tank for the weekend

Ok, I worked pretty much all night supervising a DUI check point, made about 23 DUI arrests, 15 drugs arrests and wrote about 40 citations last night, I got home at around 0600, went right to bed. My 4 year old son woke me up twice "dadddy, lets shoot some fireworks!!" Me: "nooo" "but daddyyy we have to shoot some fireworks!!" Me: "noooo! We will do that later. Daddy is trying to sleep"

So, anyways I just woke up

, going to go barbecue... Making some baby back ribs and some burgers on the grill, then going to go make the little tater tot happy..

One thing I DO have to get done is an incident report... Not going to get into much detail, but lets say that my taser is still charging at this minute...lol
