I'm looking for advertisers for my site, wanted to know if you guys have any ideas where I could go find some... or is it simply you just gotta poke around and find people interested? Got any advice on my venture?

Well if you want promoters .. you can post in fSwapMeet forums and pay montly or weekly or whatever for people to promote for you.

You could use adwords, but then it is very expensive for certain keywords you want to advertise in.

I have a few suggestions:
1> The last section on the Index, have a look.
2> DigitalPoint
3> Google AdWords
4> Bidvertiser
[P.S: I don't know about the advertisers end of Bidvertiser, but I know that they pay the publishers well.
