It definitely is a good song. I find it hard to pick favourites with Tool though because their music does have a fairly wide range of sound/style (for different moods I guess). And no, I haven't ever seen them live but it would be pretty crazy

Well, all I can say is that I've been posting on metal forums for a number of years, and that's how we do it. We post our last full albums list and song now playing. That is all I was doing. I'm extremely anti-capitalist, and you might find a lot of that in the realm of free hosted forums. Anyways, I do understand the difference in my post style, and will simply regard this place mostly just for support, from now on. I thought it might be a good idea to talk a little on here, other than in support or resolution. I just do not want to be percieved as a problem.

To be honest, I regard this whole thread as spam mostly, cause all most people do here is post just to increase their post count (every 5 minutes) and not many actually discuss songs and the music,

There were a few instances in this thread where people actually discussed a song or an artist, but they are few and far apart... it is quite sad.....

but this kind of thread is even like that on music forums, at least half the time. the best of them that i go to, you might get half the posts inside Now Playing / Last Albums threads that include any talk at all. it's different in a multi-genre context like here, because there's less in common, too. i listen to metal, mostly, so i keep an eye out for others and if i dig general things they play/list, then i might check some of their stuff out. i might go look up some band that sounds kewl that's with their somewhat likeminded playlist, right. it's about discovery, firstly, and some other people compare and debate about bands, hahah... on some forums you might list all the full albums you listened to the last couple days, or on some, there might be another thread for just the song you're now listening to:

it's kewl, man. it's just far different than spam to me, because i've seen some terrible spam over the years, like sick and disturbing porn links with pics and stuff, all these others out trying to make money, or have viruses, and really all this is is what i listened to recently, right...

Larah's post about Sour Stone I find to be a fairly good mix of vocals with heavier music. I'm not saying that I dislike hard or heavy vocals, just so long as it's done well. Although, I like Samael's album Ceremony of Opposites (even though it's mostly black metal) because it does touch on industrial a tad bit. They seem to have gone way off track recently though...

I really do also like industrial metal (such as Godflesh), stoner metal (like Goatsnake, Kyuss a bit), and doom metal (Candlemass, Witchfinder General). Plus, you can't forget the good old heavy metal like Diamondhead (Lightning to the Nations) and Black Sabbath (more chill).

Aside from metal, grunge (the Seattle sound) is another favourite genre of mine. So Soundgarden (earlier = grungier), Alice in Chains, Skin Yard, Green River, Gruntruck, and My Sister's Machine are some good examples.
