Hi, I am just here to find someone who are interested in history ?
To me, I like the Ancient Roman Empire and the History for the British Empire

I chose History for one of my GCSE's, so I also have an interest for history.

We are learning about the World War I.

I'm studying cannada right now, but on the history thing. I don't really like it really OLD history. I like to study things in the 1900's.

I love history. I prefer history between 500BC to 500AD.
My favourite branches were Mesopotamia, Harrappa, Egypt, and India from 400BC.

What about the history of Jews?( referring the Holy Bible as a study to Israel XD?)

Doesn't that come under religious studies, which I have also chosen for as one of my GCSE's.

We didn't have much about outside India.
We studied Buddhism, Jainism, Hinduism and Islam.

Jainism is not well known outside India.
There are people in Europe and USA who have not heard of Hinduism.
The funny part is when, I see a foriegner in Mumbai who asks me the time for Namaz on a Firday.

There are people in the USA who don't know they're in the USA, what makes you think they would know what Hinduism is? lol

I love history, namely Ancient Greece and Rome. But also more modern US History, like the 60's through the present are also great.

I never studied either except Rome in Julius Caesar.

you are at what educational level ?
in my country,I knew seldom about the ancient history(I read books from Lib..). most of topics focus on the modern history , e.g. French Revolution, WWI ,WWII , Cold War, the conflict in Middle East.. and some selective topics ...
