so, what exactly are all of the different uses of html?

why is it a good thing to learn?
what is the difference between C++ and HTML

Without going into the details HTML is a language used for web pages. C++ is a programming language that doesn't require the use of a website. I took a year in college learning C++ (hated it) then took up networking, got my A+, Network+, MCPs, MCSA...yea I loved it.

wow, HB, you learn C++, its time to add your msn to learn from you how to program php... hard man...

By the way, sbested, if you want to learn C++, learn from either Basic or Pascal 1st, they are much more easier than C++

This is not true at all. There were many other programming languages before HTML such as Basic, C, Pascal. You are better off saying HTML is a foundation to most web programming.

I took one year of C++, this was several years ago, and I didn't like it at all. So I couldn't be much help to you.

lol, I might have 1-2 other topics doing the same. I have a habit of leaving windows open, and I jump from comp to comp (have 4 connected at home) and forget to close down my windows
