I probably already know the answer is no but is it possible to put an rss news feed into a phpbb forum description and have it show up right on the screen?

If not, is it possible with IPB?

I have no idea what a rss news feed is. If it is just a code you can probably have it in IPB.

i have them on my website on the side blocks.
If you look at any news site, they have an rss link to click to add to your website or things like newsgator.

Well I was just thinking about creating a news site to post updated news stories.

Not even possible with IPB? I thought for sure you could do that and even have the images show up with the codes and all.

Well, how exactly do you get RSS?

If RSS is just a code, there *is* a chance you can probably have it on the IPB board... If it requires folders and files to be installed, then you can't seeing as there's no FTP access...

In case anyone cares, Bravenet.com also offers a newsfeed code that works for phpbb. They have a lot of add ons that work on phpbb.
