Default Why vBulletin?

Will vBulletin-hosting soon be added at forumer.com or whats the reason for using vB for your own support forums?

I just find it a little odd that forumer.com's own forums is running a software that you're not offering your users..

V-Bulletin you have to pay for to use it so Forumer will never offer it. Forumer uses it because it is a good board.

V-bulleting cost's money, like Kurisu said.

It would be impossible and really expensive if forumer offered it to every user that asked for it.

Maybe i was not clear.. The question was not ment to be "why don't you offer vB?", cause that i can understand. What i ment was more: "Why not use any of the two softwares you offer for your own forums?".

You don't see a executive from Ford drive around in a Volvo..

no they drive more expensive and better cars thana ford.....

the reason they use vbb, is because vbb has better options and usibility. Compared to ipb or phpbb.

I agree, I'm sure Forumer would host vbb if it were free.

ipb 1.3 is free for those that brought it at the time when it was free. Its not free anymore. The current ipb version is 2.04 and costs $185.00 for the full license

vBullentin is alot more secure than IPB and phpBB are and it had the options that the admin (limez) wanted when he set this forum up. This forum use to be an IPB forum, but limez decided to upgrade the support forums to something better at the end of last year to the begining of this year.
