You can't just type in a link and a .exe file will play. A .exe file is a program file it is not like .midi or .wav.

Ever hear of setup.exe? .exe means executable file. You can only download them, but some pages mined with viruses can "force" them on your computer- which is why having a good anti-virus is crucial on the big bad net.

Could a mod close this topic because the question has been answered.

Just a quick review of the thread:
There is no way to host a .exe file and have it play when linked. You can only download them.
