This will probably be a long post so feel free to skip it if you're not up for it.

I just created a forum on here as a message board for my site where I post short stories.
I often use strong language in my stories, but I will be posting them on my site, not on the forum. I have written about drink, drugs, sex, depression, and relationships amongst other things. Some stories contain highly erotic content, and all, hopefully, have a positive message. That is the reason I write, and the reason I set up the forum, to pass on a positive message. This is also what I try to do on other forums I’m on.

The idea of the forum is to exchange ideas and experiences about life, and to give people a chance to ask me and others about what they've read, as it might give them a new angle on something that's important to them.

I want to talk about many aspects of life to pass on a positive, and if possible humorous, message through stories and experiences which might also be bad experiences, about the abuse of drink, drugs, talk about sex, films that are food for thought, etc.

I do not want to promote pornography, or drugs, or illegal activities in any way. I want to promote awareness.

The terms of use with reference to sexual content and profanity have me worried as it will be almost impossible to talk about some things without using modern language, including strong language occasionally, as well as discussing the harsher and naked side of life, so others can learn from the past experience of those who have already been there and come out the other side smiling.

I really don't want to filter how people post, unless they are damaging to this site or the idea of the forum. The use of bad language and frank talk about sensitive subjects is part of how people who might be interested in this project may express themselves. I would rather have a positive poster who swears, than a negative poster who doesn't.

I do not want to do something that could cause the people kind enough to host my board a headache, or get me banned for breaking the rules.

In short, am I going to breaking the terms of use with this project?

If you have any advice before I start promoting the forum that would be great.
