Default Why cant I edit a post at forumer.com?

Hi all
I have posted a couple of times this morning and have spotted a faux pas I want to fix. I do not see an edit option where it should be though. I am logged in and the Posting Rules at bottom say I may edit, but have no edit button next to the Reply and Quote ones.
Betcha I am looking in the wrong place, so take mercy on a relative newbie and point me in the right direction. Pleeeease.

Cheers in advance

Not entirely true. You can only edit your post for a period of exactly 15 minues after you posted. That's why you need to take your time when posting, making sure to get everything right.

Please do not PM me for support.

Ahah, thanks for that winnopeg, that explains it.
Its a pity that the 'You may edit your posts' thingee doesnt update at the same time the edit facility expires then.
At least I have learned this lesson and will not use quick post without the preview in future.
Cheers
