If I can get my own host in the future, will there be any possible way to keep and move all members & posts to my new host (like Forumer did when moving to VBulletin) ?

Depends...what type of forum do you have now? what are you going to get? how many members are at you current forumer.com forum?

Oh, just asking. I'm not buying any domain soon. If I do, I will get the newest version of IPB. About members, I have about 1200 now.

Why not making a back up database, then upgrade it to the 2.0.x ?

Forumer doesn't allow any exports, Hoang. That's why.
