The one reason I started my forum at forumer.com was the bannerless claim. I have only 57 members as we are one group of people who want to discuss what we want. There were others at that time offering services with backups but with banners. A site I know was hosted by LonelyPoet he had his site hosted in multiple forums one with backup facility. When all others went belly up he took his backup and right now hosts his own forum using IPB. He was intelligent enough to go around and find out a site that offered backups. He at that time warned me that forumer cannot stay without banners for long so it is better to find my own servers. Now after 7100 post it is practically impossible to move on and we are all stuck here. Forumer was deceiving us all the time and it is a shame.
There is another site I know who recently announced that their free service with banners is going out of business on February but they offer backups for $5.00 per site. That is the decent way to do it. You guys want money then ask a reasonable amount all who wanted to move on can pay and move on with their sites. Rest of the people who are ok with the ads can stay. I am not naming any sites here that offers many services as it will only harm forumer services. If anyone want to know about this it is better to contact LonelyPoet or you can e-mail me at looter@looters.org.ru.
Thanks and I hope some good sense come into the heads of people running forumer.com.

Forumer do not provide back ups not even for a fee. This has been asked countless times before.

Thank you for your suggestion. As things are changing it is better for forumer to change that policy too. It may bring in a lot of revenue. Now ads are out there to get money and you are even planning to give accounts ads free for money. It is sounds good to offer backups for a reasonable fee. I don't think forumer want to keep unsatisfied clients in their servers.
Another thing, a policy can be said only by Admin, Support Staff or moderators. Who are you CSS to say with authenticity that this is not possible? As you not part of support staff and moderators, SHUT UP and listen to people who can make decisions.

Because I've seen this asked countless times before and am aware that forumer do not provide backups. Why would it be any different for you just coz you're willing to pay a fee?

This is getting ugly...

Hello looter,

The staff is not ALWAYS going to help members, thats why we have members, you should respect them and take answers from them, with the exception if they say "im not sure".The staff gets really busy, and has other things to do.

is that clear?

Thanks,
Attitude.

Exactly. I'm sorry I couldn't give you a better answer such as oh yes they will give you a backup but there's no need to take it out on me I answered to the best of my knowledge about forumer. As far as I am aware I've never known them to provide databases to members but if you don't believe me fine I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.

Forumer does not provide a backups to you at the moment. This may be a service offered in the future or it may not. If this does become a reality, more information will be posted on these fourms at that time.
