Yeah, I think that the phpBB forums are good, a lot different to the Invision ones, but still good. Although I have to say, I'm not as familiar with the Admin CP as I am in the Invision one. And appartently when phpBB2.2 is released in a stable form, Forumer is planning to upgrade, which will be good.

I love them...they are alot more prefessional, but yet more complicated.

but they are alot better....
I have another band that I am a manager for, they told me to make one.
So I did.

Been there, destroyed that.

I like phpBB layout but there's a lot less options on phpBB than Invision.
I personally prefer Invision because of the options you have of tweaking the board.

I suppose phpBB can be run by everyone just because of it's simplicity... I won't be running a phpBB board though... long live invision 2.0 beta prerelease

You don't understand. PhPbb can do ALOT more than Invision. If you're good with PHPBB, there is no limit to how individual your board can be.

Check out this forum, run by phpbb.

Or just visit the official phpbb website. I guess to be able to add stuff like custom images etc. you need to be good with html, and know how to access the server. I don't know. Perhaps our questions will be answered later.

I like these, but I dont know a lot about phpBB. But not knowing allows me to gain information about these boards and once I start doing stuff I will be able to assisst people. This is awesome that Limez offers this, so finally I can have a non IF board.

I don't know what to say, but, I think that it is hard to use Phpbb than IPb.
<---Don't know much about Phpbb, but I had one and used it before I get to Forumer.

I think in IPB, you can easily manage the Skin, and other things such as Mods , but in Phpbb.... I have no idea how to do it!

I know how to use the Hack Mods, but you have to use the FTP Access to Upload them!

I think that it will greatly improve Forumer.com. It adds a little bit more work to us, but I'm sure that we can handle it.

[ visit forumer modifications center today]

We now have phpBB modifications available.

It'd be nicer if we could add stylesheets to our forum, but I guess we'll have to wait until after Beta phase, eh?

Bummer. :P
